Hello there! My name is Hannah and I am a third-year Sociology student at Northeastern University. I am currently on co-op in Oswiecim, Poland, which is most likely what brought you to this page. I am an intern at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum until October, at which time I will be finishing my co-op with a three month internship at the United States Hololcaust Museum in Washington, D.C.  My studies revolve around criminology and the hate that is developed between individuals or groups that escalate into violence. This interest led me on a Dialogue of Civilization that explored Germany and Poland through the lens of the Holocaust. Our last stop on this four-week summer study abroad was the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. This solidified my decision to spend my second co-op battling the preventable ignorance that led to the Holocaust.
